I am determined.
I am sick of seeing gift guides for the big boys. By this I mean the usual PR guides to gifts that the bigger brands can afford to put together. I don't want to knock them as I'm very grateful and I get that people love their brands. However, I really want to highlight local or smaller craft maker this Christmas. I am not going to lecture or sit here preaching. I just want to say, supporting local or small craft/jewelry makers puts food on tables, pays rents and generally, helps a lot more then buying Philip Green buy a third yacht. So I am going to start sharing the work of craft people I like with links and advertising them - free of charge until Christmas.

I fell in love with these the minute I saw them on Instagram.
These crystal glasses and mugs are the work of Collin Lynch. An American artist who makes these incredible pieces.
The image I saw this morning showed a multi colored girl taking a sip out of a mug covered in crystals. The mug almost obscured her entire face which is my idea of a decent size coffee mug. Although, I would be slightly frightened to use these as I think they are closer to sculpture then they are mugs!
