Queen Latifah is headed to HBO.

It’s still the place to go for the lot of the stars – duh.

The Chicago Oscar nominee is switching from jazz to blues now that she is set to produce and star on a made-for-TV biopic of – drumroll please – Bessie Smith, the iconic blues (duh) singer.

I smell an Emmy nom....
