So Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 came to Nottingham last night to help round off the pride celebrations.
Naturally all of us went.
It was a sci fi theme so hence the alien type make up. I was intending on pink and purple but my previous idea didn't work out and I had to scrap it. Once more I have got the pink shade from MAC. It's Royal Azealia blusher used everywhere! I've darkened it using Deep Damson in places.
I also used a paint stick from MAC for the purple. This meant a lot of setting it in place using transparent powder as those paint sticks can move a lot.
I also used the paint stick in Hi Def Cyan on Jenny's face before going around the lines in Rapid black liner from MAC. I have a love/hate relationship with those liners to be honest. I kinda love them but kinda hate them too.
So here is the product list:

Lips - NYX liquid Lipstick
Purple - MAC Paint Stick in purple

Advice for products
NYX glitter is very fine glitter and it sticks to everything. I really struggled with it. I liked it but I prefer working with chunkier glitter. However, this usually means its too chunky for use on the eyes. NYX do sell a glitter adhesive but I have tons of really great mixing mediums from MAC so didn't need it....yet!
Using Paint Sticks is a great way of covering large areas of skin instead of using a powder. In using a powder, the skin can sometimes be greasy and absorb more colors leaving patches in places. I suggest either powdering the hell out of your skin before using a shadow and hoping for the best OR just cutting the crap and using paint sticks to get the right effect. PS do have a lot of slip in them so they will need setting. Sadly, there are no paint sticks for sale in Nottingham as they are PRO products so you have to go to London to get them.
