Review- Topshop Nails!

Hi everyone!

I have another review for you all today. I will be reviewing the Topshop Nail Polishes. Now, baring in mind that I don't have all the colours that ever existed in my collection but I have enough to base an opinion on so lets get started.

I have 9 in my collection and I think that's a pretty good number to get a good idea of what these are like. First of all, I want to talk about the packaging. It's just a classic glass bottle but their a nice size and very simple design on the bottle. The top is so cute! I love the polka dot design that Topshop makeup has and I think they make them stand out in my collection because I don't think I have any other nail polishes with a design on the top. The bottles are very sturdy and the brush inside is a nice size.

Let's jump into the colours, shall we?

First up we have the shade 'Venus Fly Trap' which is a beautiful pastel, apple green colour. As I am writing this, I have this on my nails and I am obsessed with this colour. The reason why I love this colour so much is because I don't have anything else like this in my collection and it's a colour that I normally wouldn't go for. With this one, it took three coats to get it completely opaque on my nails but you could get away with two coats. This is the perfect shade for spring and summer (or if you're anything like me, you'd wear whatever colours you want whenever you want, regardless of seasons).

Next is the shade 'Beam' which is a silver toned baby pink. This is shimmery but not glittery if that makes sense. You can definitely see the silver in it but it is a metallic pink I would say. This looks lovely on the nails and I think it would look stunning on so many skin tones. Again, this one takes about 2 coats to get it opaque and the colour is really special.

Now we have the shade 'Myth'. This one is a glitter top coat and this caught my eye the minute I saw it. It is a mixture of small and big glitter in a hexagonal kind of shape and what I love about this is that it's two toned. It is a mix of gold and purple and I love that combination. Normally with glitter top coats, I usually only see a single colour or only go for a single colour glitter but this is absolutely stunning. This would go with so many nail polish colours and that's what I love about it, it is so versatile. Only one coat of this on top of a polish looks very special and it goes on really nicely.

This is the shade 'Wide Awake' (reminds me of the Katy Perry song!). This is a pastel neon orange shade. It looks much brighter on the nails than it does in the bottle but I love that. This one goes on very opaque and two coats is plenty! This is one of my favourite colours in my collection and I think this would look great on every skin tone!

Next we have the shade 'The Love Below' which is a rose/barbie pink kind of colour. The best way I would describe this as is the nail painting emoji, this is a very close match to that colour. Now, this one is quite unique because it looks like a  completely solid colour but it has just the smallest hint of pink/purple shimmer in it which is so subtle but very pretty.

This shade is 'Circus' and it is a gold, confetti style glitter top coat. The reason I call it a confetti style top coat is because the glitter is not round, they are kind of like strips. Think shredded wheat crumbs, but gold and pretty. This looks great with so many polishes but I particularly like this with a mint colour with a matte finish top coat over it, it looks very pretty.

Now this one is very special. This is the shade 'Amethyst' and it's so unique and special. It's an iridescent kind of polish. It is a purple, green, gold, grey kind of colour. It is very difficult to describe really because it is so many different colours but it is primarily purple. I find this goes on a little sheer so three coats is better but it is so unique that I can't help but love it.

Next is the shade 'Figment' and this is also a glitter top coat. This is a fine pink glitter top coat and it has big chunks of holographic glitter in it. It's very eye catching and pretty and I had my eye on this one for quite a bit of time. Because the pink glitter is so fine and there is holographic pieces in it, this would go with so many nail polishes, it's very versatile.

And last but not least, we have the shade 'Blitz' which is a dark pink, berry shade with a gold iridescence running through it. Again, I don't have a shade like this in my collection and I love how unique it is. This is very flattering on and I think it's a beautiful all season, all year round colour.

So here are the swatches (they are in the order from left to right as above). *Each one has two coats on, even the top coats*.

What I love the most about these colours are a few things. The colours are all very wearable and versatile, the opaqueness, the easy application and the quality and staying power of them. I always use a top coat and mostly always use a base coat and these last a really good amount of time without chipping and this to me shows the quality of them. They all glide on really beautifully and they are very easy to apply. They also dry very quickly which is great, especially if you are in a bit more of a hurry. Like I've said, the quality of these is amazing and I am very eager to get my hands on some more shades.

What do you think of the Topshop nail range? What shades do you have? Let me know down in the comments.

Until next time, happy reading and I'll see you next time.
